Christmas Break

What Christmas means to me Is that In my vision I see the whole family being together eating dinner, laughing enjoying their Christmas presents and enjoying the life. On Christmas day I am mostly not going to do a lot of stuff but yeah a little party. So I think my mom Is going to be doing some cooking, I do not know what kind of food I just know that she Is making my favorite pecan pie. I already got my Christmas present which was an ipod touch and I love it a lot. My other family members haven't gotten their presents yet. Like it was my birthday she wanted to give it to me early. I usually don't travel a lot during vacations because the whole family isn't together and my mom doesn't like people missing the fun. I won't get anything else because my mom said that she spend money on big things that we wanted so we are only getting one present she didn't have Lot's of money this year because she wasted it on something really needful. What we would probably be doing for Christmas would be that maybe the whole family Is going to be together everyone bringing something and after the dinner we maybe going to the theatre or we will just rent movies and watch them at home with popcorn. I also think that before we celebrate we will go somewhere to a little party at my friend's house she is always nice with us I like her alot because she always gives us Christmas presents. This Christmas I want it to be the best one that I have ever had in my childhood, I also wished my dad was with me for Christmas but nop he's not going to be here.

Globaloria

This week In technology I feel very tired from this week’s hard work. Some people might say that they are tired because they don’t really work hard as much as I do, well It’s really not that much work for me because I’m used to do hard work.
What I have learned In technology this week It’s how to work with flash and layers. I am very glad that I have learned lot’s of flash because I might need the same strategies In my future. I also have learned about how game genres work with what type of game. I really think that I haven’t struggled with nothing because I always I always do my work and follow directions. The only thing I have mostly have gotten problems with Is the technology vocabulary test. The reason I have problems with the test Is because maybe I had never heard them In my life or I just can’t remember them. I think that for helping others students understand technology better Is to tell them the reason we want them to work hard, what will happen If they do work hard.
The changes that I will want In technology are that my class gets more focused, following instructions so we won’t get behind from other classes because that way we won’t get our work done quickly. Well I don’t really have any fun Ideas because I really like technology already the way It is. Well I only have one Idea maybe help us how to customize stuff. How to make flyer's or websites, specially how to make business cards.

Toros Game

I think that the Toros game was very great, even do they lost I still think that they made great shoots when they were winning. This was my first time going to a Toros game so I had some kind of weird experiences. My weird experiences are that I don't really like basketball but now since I watched the game I can see that I am going to start going to more Toros game, the truth Is that even do I didn't used to like It I kind of like It now. The best thing that I liked was that they were throwing out some free stuff like some t-shirts, tickets and other stuff. I was kind of disappointed because a shirt that they threw was mines but then this kid pulled It from my hand aha I was so mad. Then when they were on their break our principal told us that If we wanted to go to the concession stand to buy some food to go because then the game was about to start back so we wouldn't miss any of the game. So I went there and I was thinking about what to buy because there was a lot of stuff that I liked and the problem was that I didn't had enough money to buy everything, I only had 5 bucks and that could only buy 1 or 2 stuff. So i finally was in the line, but I didn't really wanted to buy anything but the lady said hey c'mon what do you want and I said popcorn so I bought popcorn It was very huge so I shared with my friends then I was full and told my cousin Yenifer If she wanted them so I gave them to her. Then the Vipers where winning which shouldn't supposed to happen and It happened. Then they said that the Vipers had won so they did and then we left that was It I think that the field trip to the Austin Toros was great.

The most thing that I am more excited about Is that we get to use flash so It can help us with the action script. Once I had seen a flash video making a drawing move I felt so cool because no other school works with this. The flash will help us create our games wonderful.
The topic that I will be doing with my game Is education because I want children to succeed even If they think they can't do It or that they are dumb they still can work they will succeed with my game. I want them to know that education is the key to everything mostly. It's not just about going to school and get a job no If you don't graduate or get a degree they might not hire you In a very good job you'll end up In a stupid job. You are where you shouldn't suppose to be you need to be a doctor, pediatrician or just a great person.

Thanksgiving

What I do in Thanksgiving day is that the night before thanksgiving I go with my mom to the store and buy all the things that I need for the celebration party. The next morning I wake up really early with my mom and my grandma so I can help them get everything done before the family gets home. My favorite thing that I like about helping my mom out Is that I get to do my favorite dessert cheesecake which I love making it. The 2ND thing that I like about It Is that I get to have fun Instead of sleeping in. Once the family Is here before we eat we always take pictures of the whole family so we can remember our happy family. Then grandma calls us to come eat and while we eat we can pray If we want to we also tell jokes we ask each other remember that time when we went to the carnival just remembering our favorite memories. After we have done eating we cut the cake and the cheesecake. Sometimes my uncle brings good movies and after eating we watch them and have a pretty good time with the family I love so much. This time I think that my family won't be all together because every year my aunt goes to see her mom and my other uncle has to take care of my newborn little cousin because he is sick and was born before he supposed to. I have a feeling that this time my family won't be together my mom says that If the family Isn't going to be together we won't celebrate Thanksgiving.

Technology

What I have learned in technology this week was how to do action Script by that I mean that I was learning how to make objects move from one place to another using flash and layers.
It think It will be hard to use and do because you have to use some codes that have these weird letters and also some objects I'd never seen In my life like semicolons that I never knew how to use. The second thing that I learned from technology this week was how to modify objects in the flash to convert them into symbols also how to erase them. The most thing that I think I will be struggling is Action Script because when I was watching the video it seemed very hard to me I barely understood it and the other things I kind of understand them not very well but I do get their point of view. Like I said that ActionScriopt seemed very hard to me well know my goal is to know how to do Action Script because I want It to be really easy to me know because when I learn how to do I won't have trouble doing it with my game. I bet that by the end of the year I will know how to do Action Script I will even help my friend s how to do It.

Technology

I feel that I am doing everything good in technology class I don't think that I am doing bad in nothing because I've always been an intelligent student. Really I don't have that much trouble only in the vocabulary words for the test. I have trouble remembering their definitions because I am not really used to know and talk technology words only using the computer.

I am frustrated about my classmates not knowing what to do just because they weren't paying attention they were in some other websites wondering around and that causes Ms. Miller not to go on because she has to help them also we loose time and we get behind. What I can do to get a better understanding of the class would be maybe to help the other kids when they are falling behind maybe tell them to get out of the websites and follow Ms.Miller for us not to loose time and get work done. Also the technology people can block the websites that they go to when we are in task so they don't go to them. What Ms.Miller can do to help us understand the concepts of Globaloria are she can tell us what's the reason we are doing Globaloria, what will happen if we don't get it done, what if we get behind or what fun we'll we miss if we don't design the games.
