Arte Wolfe

I found this picture and I thought it was pretty artistic. It's attractive to the eye. All these men are together and have some sort of art on their face. I really like the design on their bodies because it creates patterns. One pattern leads to the other and so forth. They could be performing at a festival, or a parade, or even a show at some place, who knows. Almost their whole face is covered which makes their eyes stand out even more. It's lovely. The design stands out well with the black and white because it makes it looks like lights.

Nature Shots

Taking nature shots was like any other regular picture. I took these nature pictures with my phone because there was not enough cameras. They should really invest in more than just 3 cameras because it's not enough for the class. It was pretty basic, nothing special. Just like the class. Taking pictures with my phone was easier than the camera. Why? It was easier because you didn't have to do such effort in order to capture an image. Overall, it was a basic experience.

William Henry Jackson

This picture can show tons of stories. It is in sepia, a very faded and different shade of brown. I don't know if it is but it could be. The subject is alone, maybe alone by choice. There is something in the background, behind the water. To me, it looks like a huge splash of water, right by the subject. It seems enormous to the subject, quite tall and clear. I find this picture astonishing. You can make of it anything you would like or that comes to mind. 

plus and minus

So we did an assignment called "plus and minus." Like I said before, It didn't seem any different for me. It was just changing the settings on the camera. You have to work around it somehow. It all depends on how you want your pictures to look. I found it very interesting to see how all the different settings can make a total different picture. Overall, the pictures were great and had a good focus.

Wow! What an amazing picture! I actually like this picture because the subject is intense. A kid is begging for his life but he will probably be killed. Either way his life doesn't matter because he was gonna die somehow. It's pretty cool how he is right in the middle of the circle. It reminds me of a ritual. He must be sacrificed for the better of the community. This picture tells a beautiful story.

Cat and Mouse

It was funny doing the cat and mouse because we were almost like chasing each other. At least that is how I feel. It was fun because my partner Grecia had no idea what exactly to photograph but my face. While working at it, I forgot what the subject was and just started taking random pictures. But then again, I was able to focus and complete the assignment. It doesn't work so well with me when a picture is assigned, pictures should be taken at the most random moments. It wasn't my favorite but I sill did it just for the sake of it.
