Shutter Speed

Shutter speed is basically the amount of time that a camera is open allowing light to come in.
A slow shutter speed can capture more of action in slow motion. A medium shutter speed can capture a lot of the action but also focus on certain areas of the picture, either a focus or blur background. A fast shutter speed usually captures all of the action making it a great focused picture covered in every inch.
