Semester Goals
I've always had high expectations for myself but lately I haven't been up to them, I must get back to work. It's a new semester and my #1 goal is to go hard, meaning to give it my everything %100. College is just around the corner and I want my GPA to be as high as it can get. Last semester I slacked a bit and it didn't go so well, I got the worst grade ever out of my whole life on my strongest subject: English.
Another goal that relates to this, is to always ask for help even if I am shy to ask because I must understand every concept or else I won't progress. Most of the time I am shy to ask the teacher for help because I don't want to sound dumb but anyways I should always ask or else I'll actually be the real dumb person.
One of my most valuable goals is to become a better hitter in Volleyball. Last season, I didn't really give it my best at hitting, I wasn't confident enough. I know I am strong enough to spike great hits!! I am definitely excited for next season. I would like to improve my digging for the most powerful spikes, for example my coach's spike. I hope to come back better than ever this season. I know I can do it, I have the strength at power to.
My 3rd goal for the semester would be to become a better dancer and more flexible. I've always enjoyed dancing but stopped for a long time because I started to forget about it. I totally forgot how great of a dancer I am. This semester, I am in Dance, which will definitely help me. I've been thinking lately and I kind of want my career in the dance area. I love to dance honestly, I find it a sense of freedom.

Add First Person Player
You obviously design first person view differently from 3rd person. 1st person player would probably be easier I would think because you are basically designing in area. You'd design with detail for a 1st person view. 3rd person view would also make it easy for the character to play but either ways they both can be same or different. Honestly, you get a broad idea of what you have to accomplish during the game as well as move around the scene.

Build Scene
Turning my 2-D map into a 3-D scene was an interesting ride, it wasn't easy nor difficult. This might sound funny but the most difficult thing for me to do was the house because I don't usually carry that type of imagination with me which makes it hard for me to visualize it and create it in Unity. Another difficulty I had was duplicating my buildings, it wouldn't let me duplicate for some reason. I would say things are pretty easy to create but you just need to know how in order to succeed. I know I had a hard time knowing where to get things from in order to use them in my scene. I can finally imagine my game scene I would say. Even though it was hard I feel like it helps a lot creating in Unity since it's 3-D. It gives you an easier view to how you want your game scene. I see it, I see my game scene now. Overall, Unity did give some headaches but I just have to learn how to work with it well. It might get hard but I can do it.

Making Paper Prototype
Making a paper prototype helps develop ideas faster than usual. Making a paper prototype helped me visualize better how my game will look in Unity. It helped paste everything quicker than if I was to do so in the actually format. Overall it made things easier for me to visualize what my game will look like and how every little object matches its position throughout the scene.

Plan Game Scene
My game will start out as a classroom/kitchen where a low income family is taught how to cook economical meals nearby their community. Since many of low income families are used to traditional cultural food which most of it is high in fat and several other ingredients, they'll learn how to change their diet by learning new ways to cook. The player will be one of the family members and you'll have to find healthy objects that are needed for the recipes in order for you to cook at home for your family. If the player hits or touches the wrong object, he will have to go back again until he gets used to a healthy object. I'm really excited because in the game the player can't win unless he's adapted to healthy habits.

Intro to Unity
Creating a 3-D Object was really really difficult for me! It was frustrating at the beginning but towards the end It got easier. I expected Unity to be harder but it's actually not. Unity has assets for you already. All you have to do is put them together and make something out of it. I think Flash and Unity aren't so hard to use. Flash just provides a bit more freedom by letting you create anything you could think of. In Unity, assets are there for you and you just use them. I hope to create an entertainment that will attract others, unlike my other work. I hope to make a perfect setting for my very first entertaining adventure game. I also hope to become an expert just like I did with Flash.
Sculpt Terrain
At first it was difficult for me to make a terrain in Unity. I was kind of confused since there was lots of assets to choose from. I didn't know how exactly to add the texture. Although I had some difficulties, everything turned out to be ok. I was fun adding all sorts of textures to my terrain. I felt like I was building my own hose or piece of land. Towards the end, nothing else was hard, only choosing how to enhance it was a bit challenging. Overall I enjoyed making a terrain in Unity.
